Welcome to my professional blog homepage. Here you will find information relating to my education, working experience and professional affiliations.

I am a Structural Engineer with six (6) years experience in the planning, design and construction of transportation infrastructure. The majority of my experience has related specifically to bridge engineering with some exposure to the design and rehabilitation of reinforced concrete buildings.

I graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Prior to graduation I obtain two (2) years of practical engineering experience working within the structural engineering discipline. During this time, I gained experience in bridge asset management and bridge design including feasibility studies, concept design, detail design and construction supervision.

Since graduating I have worked for both public and private companies in Australia and Canada and have continued to gain excellent experience relating to all facets of projects. Project highlights include the $3M rehabilitation of the upper levels of the Brisbane City Hall, project management and client liaison for the Cut and Cover Inner Northern Busway (INB) in Brisbane and Project Management, Structural design and coordination for the $3Billion Gateway Program in Vancouver, Canada.

I am a Chartered Engineer (CPEng) with Engineers Australia and am listed on the National Practising Engineers Register (NPER). My application for a Professional Engineers License (PEng) in Canada is pending.

I am currently undertaking a Masters of Professional Engineer (MPEng) externally through the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) in Australia which I expect to complete mid 2008.

I have attached my resume for further career highlights and additional experience and educational information.
